Strecke 46.4 Kilometer, kum. 167 Kilometer | Höhenmeter 100, kum. 320

Der heutige Tag begann sehr sportlich. Musste ich doch mein eBike allein in den kleinen Lift bringen und somit vorne hochheben. Das gelang mir erst, als ich auch die Akkus rausnahm. Doch auch so hat das Velo noch ein erhebliches Gewicht. 

Beim Start war es draussen neblig. Und so blieb es meistens auch, nur ab und zu drückte die Sonne etwas durch. Auch die Temperatur war wesentlich niedriger wie gestern, doch das störte mich nicht, im Gegenteil, es ist mir lieber als zu warm. Die Läden öffnen hier erst um 9:00 Uhr, somit musste ich meinen Kleineinkauf verschieben. Und unterwegs fand ich nirgendwo einen Lebensmittelladen oder eine Bäckerei. Dafür fand ich wieder gute Orangen frisch vom Baum.

Die heutige Strecke war zum vornherein nicht lange geplant, es sollten nur etwa 35 km sein. Da ich dann viel zu früh am Ziel ankam, fuhr ich noch in der Stadt kreuz und quer umher und dann auch dem Meer entlang. 

Auch hier in Denia sind die grossen Festivitäten, wie ich sie schon die letzten zwei Tage erlebt habe. Morgen ist dann der Höhepunkt und auch der Schluss des Festes. Mein Gastgeber hat mir vorhin erzählt, dass heute viel Feuerwerk überall in der Stadt sein soll. 

Da ich so früh hier war, hatte ich viel Zeit um gemütlich in einem Restaurant ein Mittagessen zu geniessen. Für nur 14 € gab es einen Salat, einen Teller mit Crevetten, und einen gebackenen Fisch mit Pommes Frites. 

Kurz vor 2:00 Uhr bekam ich dann über WhatsApp die Instruktionen wie ich in mein Zimmer komme. Der Code für die Haustüre klappte auf Anhieb, doch danach wurde es schwieriger. Insbesondere weil ich sechs Treppenstufen hoch musste, wo ich dann mein E-Bike deponieren kann. Bis zur fünften Stufe ging es eigentlich wie erwartet ganz gut, doch irgendwie hatte die sechste Stufe ein Problem, respektive ich mit dem E-Bike. Ich sah den Sturz kommen und sowohl das E-Bike wie ich fanden sich wieder am Fuss der Treppe. Schon fast hätte hier meine Reise zu Ende sein können. Zum Glück gab es nur zwei kleine Blessuren, die mich die  Nächsten Tage an Denia erinnern werden. Ein zweites Problem war dann im ersten Stock, wo die Schlüsselbox war. Meine Box war nämlich leer und so musste mein Gastgeber herkommen, um mich ins Zimmer zu lassen. Meine Vorgänger der letzten Nacht haben die Schlüssel hinter einem Blumentopf in der Küche versteckt. Doch das war erst klar nach einem Anruf mit diesen Gästen. Ich frage mich, was in den Leuten vorgegangen ist, als sie die Schlüssel so deponierten.

Hoy empezamos muy deportivos. Tuve que subir mi eBike solo al pequeño ascensor y levantarla por delante. Sólo logré hacer esto cuando también saqué las baterías. Pero aun así la moto sigue teniendo un peso considerable.

Afuera había niebla cuando empezamos. Y así permaneció la mayor parte del tiempo, sólo de vez en cuando brillaba el sol. La temperatura también era mucho más baja que ayer, pero eso no me molestó, al contrario, prefiero que haga demasiado calor. Las tiendas aquí no abren hasta las 9:00 a. m., así que tuve que posponer mis pequeñas compras. Y en el camino no pude encontrar una tienda de comestibles o una panadería por ningún lado. Pero volví a encontrar buenas naranjas recién cortadas del árbol.

El recorrido de hoy no estaba planeado con mucha antelación, se suponía que sólo sería de unos 35 km. Como llegué demasiado temprano a mi destino, conduje por toda la ciudad y luego a lo largo del mar.

También hay grandes fiestas aquí en Denia, como las que he vivido estos dos últimos días. Mañana es el momento culminante y también el final del festival. Mi anfitrión me dijo antes que hoy habría muchos fuegos artificiales por toda la ciudad.

Como llegué aquí tan temprano, tuve mucho tiempo para disfrutar de un almuerzo tranquilo en un restaurante. Por sólo 14€ había una ensalada, un plato de gambas y un pescado al horno con patatas fritas.

Poco antes de las 2:00 am recibí instrucciones vía WhatsApp de cómo llegar a mi habitación. El código de la puerta de entrada funcionó de inmediato, pero después se volvió más difícil. Sobre todo porque tuve que subir seis escalones hasta donde podía guardar mi bicicleta eléctrica. Hasta el quinto nivel todo fue bastante bien como se esperaba, pero de alguna manera el sexto nivel tuvo un problema, o más bien tuve un problema con la bicicleta eléctrica. Vi venir la caída y tanto la e-bike como yo nos encontramos al pie de las escaleras. Mi viaje casi podría haber terminado aquí. Por suerte sólo hubo dos pequeñas lesiones que me recordarán a Denia durante los próximos días. Un segundo problema estaba en el primer piso donde estaba la caja de llaves. Mi caja estaba vacía y mi anfitrión tuvo que venir para dejarme entrar a la habitación. Mis predecesores de anoche escondieron las llaves detrás de una maceta en la cocina. Pero eso sólo quedó claro después de una llamada con estos invitados. Me pregunto qué pasaba por la mente de la gente cuando dejaban las llaves así.

Today I started off very sporty. I had to get my eBike into the small lift by myself and lift it up at the front. I only managed that when I took out the batteries. But even so, the bike still weighs a lot.

When I started, it was foggy outside. And it stayed that way most of the time, with only the occasional sun shining through. The temperature was also much lower than yesterday, but that didn't bother me, on the contrary, I prefer it to being not too warm. The shops here don't open until 9:00 a.m., so I had to postpone my small shopping trip. And I couldn't find a grocery store or bakery anywhere on the way. Instead, I found some good oranges fresh from the tree.

Today's route wasn't planned to be long from the start, it was only supposed to be about 35 km. Since I arrived at my destination much too early, I cycled all over the city and then along the sea.

Here in Denia, too, there are big festivities, like I've experienced over the last two days. Tomorrow is the highlight and also the end of the festival. My host told me earlier that there will be a lot of fireworks all over the city today.

Since I was here so early, I had plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely lunch in a restaurant. For just €14, I got a salad, a plate of prawns, and a baked fish with French fries.

Shortly before 2:00 a.m., I received instructions via WhatsApp on how to get to my room. The code for the front door worked straight away, but after that it became more difficult. Especially because I had to climb six steps where I could leave my e-bike. Up to the fifth step, things went quite well, as expected, but somehow the sixth step had a problem, or rather I had a problem with the e-bike. I saw the fall coming and both the e-bike and I found ourselves at the bottom of the stairs. My trip could almost have ended here. Fortunately, there were only two small injuries that will remind me of Denia for the next few days. A second problem was on the first floor, where the key box was. My box was empty, so my host had to come over to let me into the room. My predecessors from the previous night had hidden the keys behind a flowerpot in the kitchen. But that only became clear after a phone call with these guests. I wonder what was going through the people's minds when they left the keys like that.
